Family movie night a couple weeks ago was The Three Musketeers (the Disney version from the 90s) and it was extremely popular. I got the book out of the library to read again and Bobo swiped it to read it himself.  He read the first 19 pages, and asked me about some words, and then said that the author used a lot of words but nothing had happened yet! So we agreed that I would get a simpler version of it from the library for him.

Mr. Brown has a beloved doll from his childhood named Mandy that lives on a bookshelf in our room.  Rosebud has recently discovered her and adopted her.  Rose Pink helped her get cleaned up - she got her hair washed very gently.  Rosebud carries her around the house as they play together, and told Mr. Brown yesterday that Mandy calls her 'Mama'.

Bobo and Rosebud decided to draw with (wet) chalk on the trampoline.  They had a lot of fun with it!  Rosebud and I had a tea party out there later where I drew the teacups and the honey pot (we just watched the Winnie the Pooh movie - the old one- and she loved it).  This was back in June- it's too hot now to be outside during the day.
