 D stayed home from school today because he was so worn out after his choir concert, and Nut Brown is all done with school now so he was home too.  Nut Brown initiated a singalong session to Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, and then it turned into working out a show choir piece to the music as well!  Nut Brown loves to sing and dance, and he carries D along with him. <3

 Nut Brown has a black suit and a green suit.  He loves the green suit, and is okay with the black suit.  He wore the black suit to a church appointment the other day, and coming home he said, Black suits are really only good for undertakers.  And blessing the sacrament.  Which I guess is kind of the same thing.

At Nut Brown's school, they parade the seniors through the halls in their regalia after they finish graduation practice.  Nut Brown thought that parades deserved candy, so he got permission from the principal to bring some to throw.  I got photos from some friends who work at the school!

Here he is posing for pictures afterwards.  Note the Jotaro pose again.  He is pretty stoked for graduation.  Mr. Brown and I are so pleased and excited for him!

Time for D's spring choir concert!  He was extremely excited about it, as he has been for all of his concerts the past two years.  His choir received 'excellent' ratings at their competition this spring, and I can see why.  They sang very well, singing parts and maintaining pitches while a cappella and with very good attention to precise rhythms.  It was a pleasure to listen to them!

If I could give my mom anything in the world, this is what I would give her: peace

Before my mom had kids this is what she did... worked, hung out with Dad.  (what do you mean, you can only send 100 reply emails!)

This is the CRAZIEST thing I've ever seen my mom do... gaming with the Scotts (Wild Magic surge, eh?)

The best thing my mom cooks is... steak? (I don't cook good steak.-- I like bad steak too. -- Oh.)

I know my mom loves me because... she puts up with my crap.  (I don't want to do new things!  -- Come on! It will be good!)

I love my mom because... she is part of the family.  Also she gets stuff done and takes care of us.

I know my mommy loves me because... She shows and tells me every day.  She supports me in my decisions.  She trusts me to give makeup advice.  She encourages my hobbies.  She is honest with me when I have questions.

 Prom for Nut Brown!  He went by himself, in his spiffy green suit, and he was amazing!

Prom was held at APG at Top of the Bay club.  So Nut Brown had an advantage over some of his peers because I could easily get on post to drop him off and pick him up.

He loves this suit. He's watching me type this up and commenting on what a sweet suit it is.  He also reminded me to include a photo in his favorite pose:
