One of my favorite things about telework is when Rosebud comes and sits on my lap and draws while I am working.  It's very cuddly.  Here are some of the drawings that she has created during our time together.

 On this one, she pointed out the eyelashes to me that she had carefully cut and glued on.

Bobo doesn't like it when I kiss him, but he does like hugs.  Last night, putting him in bed, I leaned in to hug him good night and he wiggled away.  I stood back and said, "Oh, you don't want a good night hug tonight?" He said, "I do!" and wiggled back over so I could hug him.  "Just not that one.  I could tell that one had a kiss attached."

Rose Pink is part of the theater tech crew for the one-act play competition that the high school theater group is entering.  She's been working hard at rehearsals after school, and tonight we were invited to watch them perform the play for us.   We really enjoyed it!  It's called "Men In Boats" and it is about the first government-sanctioned explorers to boat through the Grand Canyon.  The boats are stepladders turned on their side.  It was fun to see the presentation of something that she has worked so hard on, and it was fun to see how excited and happy she was to be participating.

Today is our second anniversary of moving to Texas!

Rosebud got makeup for Christmas and she loves applying it to her face.  I think it makes her feel so grownup.  Rose Pink also enjoys wearing makeup, and Rosebud wants to be like her big sister.

The other morning she came out of the bathroom to show me her new use for hair chalk - not just for hair any more!

Rosebud decided to sit IN the diaper box while she colored all the shapes.  She really likes coloring and will patiently work on coloring pages of all sorts for much longer than you might expect a kid her age to remain interested.
