 We just spent a week at the beach with my sister Jenn's family and my brother Eric's family.  We all gathered at a house in Galveston and hung out for a week.  There was lots of beach time!  We discovered that me and my siblings love the beach, but none of our spouses do - they all prefer mountains.  

I apparently only took pictures from our trip to the space center in Houston, which was awesome and checked an item off my personal bucket list. We touched a moon rock, and got to go inside a space shuttle that is now parked there.

We also went to Schlitterbahn, which is a Texas chain of water parks, and had a wonderful day. We packed lots of food and water, and had a blast riding water slides and hanging out in the lazy rivers, especially the one with a wave maker. One of the best afternoons ever.

Update: January 2023. Rosebud was asked to create some biographical stories for a school assignment, and she chose this one. Including her illustrated account below.

Rosebud and I have matching shirts.  She likes it when we wear them on the same day.

We took a mirror off the wall as part of moving it to another place in the house.  Rosebud was fascinated with looking at herself.  And she talks to herself too.  It's so cute!
