On Monday I stayed home from work and we had a lovely day. With daylight savings on Sunday, the kids 'slept in' and the baby got up and played in our room with us until the others got up. He is so cute and funny. What's not to love about a cuddly baby? (It helps that he slept through the night before.) We had breakfast and did homework and the baby had a nap, and then we went shopping and didn't go over our budget, and then the baby had another nap, and then we had hot dogs for dinner (
highly anticipated) and then I fixed the tire on Nut Brown's bike and he started learning to ride without training wheels and then we went to the thrift store and found what we were looking for and then we came home and had root beer floats (those of us under 30 anyway) and then everybody went to bed.
Mr. Brown and I had a horrible weekend for sleeping (Bobo was up all night on Friday with gas because his parents weren't paying attention and gave him dairy! and then decided to be up on Saturday night as well just because) and were feeling so distant. It was lovely to take a day to reconnect with each other and with the kids. We seriously have the best kids around in our family. Everyone else's are nice but not as nice as ours.
The weather on Sunday was so WARM. I hear birds in the morning now! It may very well eventually be spring again!
