The other day my family came and stole me away from work for lunch and there was a piece of large yellow equipment in operation behind the restaurant, so being that we have a small boy we of course stopped to observe. The operator offered to let the kids ride with him in the large yellow equipment and pull levers and push buttons. I couldn't believe our luck. Nut Brown just about died from happiness.
Alas, we did not have a camera. Happily, when we returned the next week, the large yellow equipment was still there, although not operating.
Also, I asked the kids to draw pictures of their experience.
