This week we celebrated National Moldy Bread Day, when we discovered that every bread product in the house was moldy - three loaves of bread and a package of hot dog buns. Mr. Brown attributes it to the hot humid weather and no air conditioning.
At church on Sunday, the speaker said something about those in the spirit world preparing for the Second Coming of the Savior. Nut Brown turned to me and said, "Why would they prepare for it? Doesn't He just come? .... Oh, it's probably like Christmas. Christmas doesn't come unless you prepare for it. You know, buying presents and putting up the tree..." He's a chip off the old block for sure.
